Cookie Policy
How datapulseai.pro uses cookies and similar technologies. Last updated: 07 July 2026.
1. Introduction
DataPulse AI Inc. ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on datapulseai.pro to operate the website, remember your privacy choices and — only with your consent — understand how visitors use our pages. This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, how long they last and how you can control them.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information under PIPEDA.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or "persistent" cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them). Similar technologies include local storage entries and pixel tags; where we refer to "cookies" below, we include comparable browser storage used for the same purposes.
3. How we use cookies
We group cookies into two categories:
Necessary cookies
These cookies are required for basic website functionality. They cannot be disabled via our banner because the site would not work correctly without them. They do not track you across other websites for advertising purposes.
- dp_cookie_consent — stores your cookie preferences (necessary on/off, analytics on/off). Duration: 6 months. Set by: DataPulse AI.
Analytics cookies (optional)
Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate usage — which pages are read, how visitors arrive and whether navigation is intuitive. They are set only if you choose "Accept all" or enable Analytics in "Customise". We configure analytics to avoid collecting unnecessary personal identifiers where possible.
- _ga — distinguishes users for visit statistics. Duration: 2 years. Set by: Google Analytics (if enabled).
- _ga_* — maintains session state for analytics. Duration: 2 years. Set by: Google Analytics (if enabled).
- _gid — distinguishes users for 24-hour reporting. Duration: 24 hours. Set by: Google Analytics (if enabled).
We may enable privacy-oriented analytics configuration (IP anonymization, restricted data sharing) when analytics are active. Vendor practices may change; we review configurations periodically.
4. Cookie banner and consent
When you first visit our site, a banner offers three choices:
- Accept all — enables necessary and analytics cookies;
- Reject all — enables necessary cookies only;
- Customise — opens a panel where you toggle analytics on or off.
Your choice is stored in the dp_cookie_consent cookie for 6 months, after which we will ask again. You may change your mind at any time by clearing site cookies in your browser and revisiting datapulseai.pro — the banner will reappear.
Contact form consent (PIPEDA checkbox) is separate from cookie consent and is never pre-checked.
5. Third-party vendors
When analytics cookies are enabled, data may be processed by:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website usage statistics. Privacy information: policies.google.com/privacy. Opt-out add-on: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We do not use advertising or social-media tracking pixels on this site. We do not sell cookie data to data brokers.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through settings. Useful starting points:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking all cookies may affect site functionality, including remembering your cookie choice. Blocking only third-party cookies may limit analytics while preserving necessary operation.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. There is no universal standard for responding to DNT. We treat explicit choices made in our cookie banner as authoritative for this site.
8. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove technologies, change vendors or adjust retention periods. The "Last updated" date at the top will change accordingly. Material changes will be described on this page.
